The Derwent Brewing Company is pleased to offer a wide range of locally brewed ales and beers to the licensed trade whose customers appreciate real ale and a variety of tastes and strengths.

 Situated in Silloth on Solway we are able to deliver throughout Cumbria and surrounding counties to discerning pubs, hotels, clubs and inns.

Two of our products are faithful reproductions of renowned beers such as Carlisle State Bitter that is still remembered fondly by those who lived in the area during the second world war up to the early 1970s and Auld Kendal, with an ABV that will warm the cockles of the heart on a cold winter’s night.

CARLISLE STATE BITTER ABV 3.7%

 Original recipe from the State Brewery. Best malt, fuggles and golding hops. An excellent session beer. 

PARSONS PLEDGE ABV 4.0%

One of our regular brews. Delicate golden brown bitter...with a biscuit flavour.

STOCKING FILLER ABV 4.3%

Ruby red, vanilla flavour. tastes between mild and bitter.
